Bus officers to drive Welsh Quality Partnership Schemes

The Welsh Government has set aside up to £150,000 per annum for two local authorities to fund bus co-ordinators, whose task will be to establish statutory Quality Partnership Schemes (QPSs).

The officers’ work will be part of the “Metro” programmes of public transport improvements in South East Wales and North East Wales. The aim is for the QPSs to be operational by spring 2021.
