Five proposals to change how we pay for road use have been shortlisted for the prestigious Wolfson Economics Prize worth £250,000. 

More than 120 entries from seven countries were received in response to this year’s prize question: ‘How can we pay for better, safer, more reliable roads in a way that is fair to road users and good for the economy and the environment?’ (LTT 28 Oct 16).
