In the future drivers will leave their cars at the entrance to the car park and the vehicle will set off, look for a space and park autonomously, without any stress, scratches and without wasting any time. This is the vision that some carmakers are now seriously examining. Volkswagen Group is currently testing autonomous parking in a multi-storey car park near the terminal of Hamburg Airport. The trial involves a range of Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche vehicles.
