Free bus travel for all extended

The Welsh Government has decided to continue its free weekend travel scheme on TrawsCymru buses for another year. The free travel, available for all passengers, was introduced last July following a surprise announcement by first minister Carwyn Jones at the Welsh Labour conference in March 2017. Transport secretary Ken Skates announced the scheme’s continuation at the Welsh bus summit in Swansea last week. He said passenger numbers had increased by 58% as a result of the free travel. The...
