An on-demand shared ride service in Bristol, described as the UK’s first such operation, has been withdrawn.
RATP Dev launched the Slide Bristol operation as a pilot scheme in summer 2016 using a mix of 13 Volkswagen Transporters and Ford Transits. The service operated in peak hours only, with passengers booking a ride via an app.
