Two new sections of motorway bus lane opened in Belfast this week, offering predicted peak time journey time savings of up to 15 minutes for passengers compared with car travel.

Belfast already has hard shoulder bus lanes on two sections of the M1 in the southern suburbs and one on the M2 in a north-western suburb.
