Scotland’s LEZs could evolve into ZEZs

The Scottish Government’s decision to use a technical consultion about low emission zones to elicit views on converting LEZs into zero or ultra-low emission zones has been questioned. 

The Government issued a consultation just before Christmas on regulations and guidance for low emission zones. It has already ordered LEZs for Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee city centres by the end of this year.
