Snowdonia ‘unsuitable for battery’ buses

Converting bus services in Snowdonia to battery electric operation is impractical, but converting Holyhead’s local services may be more viable, a study has concluded. 

Iwan Prys Jones, programme manager for the North Wales Economic Ambition Board, told members last month about the findings of a study into converting the Sherpa-branded network of bus routes in the Snowdonia National Park to low or zero carbon vehicles.
