Average speed cameras for Leics

Leicestershire county  Council is to introduce average speed camera enforcement on roads where speeding is a concern for local communities, even if the road’s accident record is low. 

The new policy follows the completion of trials at seven sites using cameras supplied by Jenoptik Traffic Solutions. The sites were a mix of villages, rural routes, and arterial roads.
