More than 200 schemes to lower the speed limit to 20mph have now been introduced in towns and villages across Oxfordshire.

Last week the county council approved another 25 applications, including in Banbury, Thame and Wallingford. This takes the total number of approved 20mph schemes in the county to 214 since the project began in 2022.

The council is now considering another 30 other applications from towns and villages wanting to lower limits to 20mph.
