British Motor Show reveals high level of consumer uncertainty regarding future car purchases

The electric vehicle market in the UK has experienced significant growth, with nearly 382,000 new fully electric cars sold in 2024, accounting for 19.6% of all new car registrations. This represents a 21% increase from 2023.

However, despite this progress, private consumer adoption remains modest, with only 10% of private buyers choosing EVs in 2024.
