Nottingham bus operator YourBus has blasted plans for a Statutory Quality Partnership in the city.

Last month Nottingham City Council announced it was consulting on plans for an SQP covering much of Nottingham city centre. The council said it was making the move in order to protect significant investment on its part if bus infrastructure in recent years. It is expected that the scheme will become operational next May.
