Parkmobile’s mobile phone payment system is being trailed in Belfast. It is being across on-street parking spaces and in three pay & display car parks.
The system works by making a short phone call at the start and end of the parking session. Payment is taken on either credit or debit card at the end of each month. Customers are only charged for the time they actually use, with a 15p administration charge per transaction.
