The DfT has called on the Competition Commission to consider developing a ‘sequential test’ of remedies to address competitive failings in local bus markets.

“Of particular interest to the DfT is whether the Commission has considered (or is considering) a type of sequential test to their potential remedies,” says the Department in its response to the Commission’s provisional findings.
