A car park is one of eight to be granted “Dark Sky” status by an international body that recognises stargazing locations around on the Isle of Man.
The areas recognised by the Dark Sky Association in October. included Sulby Reservoir Car Park, Smeale Nature Reserve, Niarbyl, The Sound, Port Soderick Brooghs, Axnfell Plantation and Fort Island.
