Milton Keynes has been chosen as the site for the Government’s new ‘catapult’ research centre for transport.
The centre will be funded by up to £50m over five years through the Technology Strategy Board and, with the addition of money from private sector business and collaborative research and development projects, the total funding for the centre over five years could be around £150m.
