A HGV driver has been fined almost £500 for attacking a civil enforcement officer who issued a penalty charge notice for parking his lorry in a disabled space in Nuneaton town centre. Roger Ainsley pleaded guilty to assault and was fined £375. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs plus a £38 victim surcharge.
