Dame Zaha Hadid, the Iranian-born British architect who has died aged 65, was best known for projects such as the Aquatic Centre for the 2012 London Olympics, the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, also in London, and MAXXI Museum in Rome. She also designed the Al-Wakrah Stadium in Dubai, which will be centrepiece of the World Cup 2022.
