The Co-op has used surplus land in a public car park to create a supermarket in Wrexham, Wales.

The Co-op worked with NewRiver Retail, owner of the Red Lion pub on Marford Hill, to create the store. The Co-op and NewRiver have shared the £1m investment in the project, which will create 20 jobs.
