Xerox to separate business outsourcing and document businesses

Transport and parking activities will form part of new Conduent business

Xerox will be separating into two publicly traded companies at the end of the year. The business process outsourcing company, which will encompass parking, will be called Conduent, while the document technology company will continue to be called Xerox Corporation.

The name Conduent is intended to reflect the new company’s work in connecting clients and offering seamless transactions in areas such as transportation, customer care and healthcare.
