The initial design of a new retail and leisure development will be served by surface parking for Glenrothes town centre in Scotland. Easy Living Developments has signed up Marks & Spencer as the anchor tenant, along with a Marsdens gastro pub and a Tony Macaroni restaurant.

The site, which is currently occupied by a social club, has been earmarked for redevelopment for several years. Tesco had planned to build a store on it, but pulled out of the scheme in 2013.
