Blue Badge holders in Croydon are being warned about companies that charge excessive to complete online application forms for the disabled permits.
The south London council states that one website – www.parking-permits.org – charged £50 per application, with the transaction appearing as Zeal Software on the bank statement. People can apply to the council direct and pay an administration fee of £10 for the permit.
