The Department for Transport (DfT) is conducting a national survey to determine where more parking spaces are needed.
Roads minister John Hayes made the commitment a meeting with Helen Whately, MP for Faversham and Mid-Kent, representatives of the haulage industry, Kent County Council and other local authorities.
