Derby City Council is to procure a public bike hire scheme.
“Based on the available funding we would expect an initial scheme with around 15 docking stations and 115 bikes,” said Martin Rawson, Derby’s cabinet member for communities and city centre regeneration. The scheme’s actual size will be decided through the procurement process.
