NHS trusts in England are making the process of paying for parking by patients and visitors more difficult than it should be, claims the RAC.
Data collected by the motoring organisation suggests that four-in-10 hospital trusts in England that charge for parking offer no option to pay by credit or debit card at any of their sites, while a third do not allow drivers to pay-on-exit.
