An update of a parking payment app left some users seeing details of other drivers’ accounts after cashless parking provider RingGo released a new version of its iPhone app on 11 April.
The company said that on 16 April a problem emerged in the way the new app addressed the database meaning that a “small number” of drivers were able to see high level details of other people’s accounts.
