Forestry Commission introduces cashless parking at popular destinations

The Forestry Commission is experiencing a growth in visitor numbers to its recreational centres in England, which is in turn increasing pressure on parking areas. Some of the Forestry Commission’s venues have extensive facilities with several hundred parking spaces, while other sites are more remote with limited or no parking. The commission has introduced parking charges at some sites, using the revenue to fund enhancements.
