Police Scotland says it will still enforce parking across Dumfries and Galloway

Police Scotland has said that it will continue enforcing parking regulations in Dumfries and Galloway following concerns raised by local councillors about an apparent increase in drivers committing contraventions. 

However, the force has said its officers will need to focus on other areas of concern and that enforcement is not the long-term answer to parking problems in some areas.
