Leeds City Council is using a new CCTV vehicle to provide unattended enforcement of a range of offences including parking on city centre bus stops and school keep clears.
The mobile enforcement vehicle has been supplied by Videalert after a two-year pilot scheme resulted in a reduction in offences of more than 74% and faster journey times for public transport users, said Mark Jefford, Leeds City Council parking manager.
