Drivers are now being asked to turn off their engines when parked in the London Borough of Southwark. Civil enforcement officers (CEOs) are engaging with drivers of cars, buses, taxis and HGVs whose engines are idling. Failure to comply will incur an £80 penalty charge notice (PCN).
