A parking management company has decided to counter widespread calls by politicians, some health charities and parts of the national media to make parking at hospitals free. Parking company CP Plus is concerned that a lack of balance in the debate over parking at NHS sites could lead to an ill thought out scrapping of pricing controls that will leave hospitals unable to manage parking demand and having to raid healthcare budgets to finance facilities and traffic management.
