An Australian man’s insistence on taking a parking fine costing around £50 all the way to the country’s supreme court cost a local authority the equivalent of almost £25,000 in legal fees.
Andrew Crowther received the A$93 parking from Whitehorse Council in the Nunawading district of Melbourne, Victoria.
