Hounslow Council is looking at significantly increasing the number of civil enforcement officers (CEOs) in the west London borough as way of better policing parking regulations and violations.
An increase in the number of CEOs has been recommended in a report to the council because the number of controlled parking zones (CPZ) has increased substantially, with 14 new CPZs coming into operation over the last five years.
