A man who made over £1,000 by impersonating a car park attendant has been jailed for over three months. Malcolm Smith, 38, took half the advertised parking fee at an NCP car park in Soho, central London, and then manually forced the barrier open.
Deputy district judge Julia Moffatt jailed Smith for 14 weeks after he admitted five counts of fraud, failing to surrender to court and criminal damage.
