Hectronic has developed a cloud-based system for parking space surveillance that provides real-time information about parking space occupancy and forecasts of the use of parking space.
The HecSpot system uses either surveillance cameras or sensors to generate a database of occupied parking spaces by sending snapshots to a cloud-based server following a user designated picture interval.
