Caerphilly County Borough Council in Gwent, South Wales has taken over responsibility for on-street parking enforcement from the police.Since 8 April a new team of civil enforcement officers has been patrolling the area tackling inconsiderate parking.
The council will use its new powers to target unlawful parking on double yellow lines, on streets around schools, at bus stops and ‘No waiting’ areas.
