Parking charges are to be introduced at several Welsh beauty spots after a national park rejected requests from local councils to stave off charges by taking over the car parks’ management.
Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority acquired the car parks at Amroth, West Angle and Nolton Haven in the 1960s. Authority members recently agreed that instead of being free to use all year, seasonal charges should be levied at all three car parks and one in Penally.
