A phone parking payment system introduced in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, at the end of last year has been scrapped after traders complained it was affecting business.
Tameside Council said that, having looked at all the evidence and listened to feedback, it had decided to end the RingGo cashless payment system was launched in November 2018, covering 140 spaces in the town centre.
