The government has published new guidance on planning obligations and the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) in England, explaining the implications of recent amendments to regulations.
One change removes the previous restriction on pooling more than five planning obligations towards a single piece of infrastructure. Funds from CIL and Section 106 contributions can also be used to pay for the same piece of infrastructure.
