Wokingham Borough Council has moved to pay-by-plate technology to replace a barriered pay-on-foot system at a leisure centre car park. The Carnival Pool multi-storey car park in the Berkshire town offers 529 spaces across nine half levels. The facility offers 17 Blue Badge spaces, nine parent & child spaces and four electric charging bays.
The move to a barrierless operation is expected to improve vehicle flow.
