Three members of staff were disciplined or dismissed from Hertfordshire County Council or from Hertfordshire schools following allegations of fraud last year, and a further case has been passed to prosecutors.
In total 14 allegations of fraud against county council staff have been reported to the shared anti-fraud service last year – of which six remain under investigation.
