Newly employed to get free travel in West Midlands

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) and local transport operators are offering newly employed people free travel on bus, tram and rail services. 

Through the Workwise scheme, residents who have gained a new job will get free travel for eight weeks and then half price tickets for a further four weeks.

Anyone paying an adult fare who lives or works in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall or Wolverhampton, and who started a new job after being unemployed, could be eligible...
