Ashford Borough Council has taken ownership of a former NCP car park.
The car park at Park Mall shopping centre will become one of the Kent council’s portfolio of town centre car parks.
NCP has decided that it no longer wishes to run its car park operation at Park Mall, owing to a wider company financial restructuring that is seeing it relinquishing a number of its car parks nationally.
The council negotiated with the former operator.
