A Welsh council will be examining its parking regime after less than a third of the penalty charge notices it had expected to be issued were handed out by civil enforcement officers.
Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council’s team leader for built environment Mark Hopkins told councillors between 1 November 2020, and 30 September 2021 some 1,029 PCNs were issued. The council's business model stated that 3,500 penalty notices need to be issued each year.
