Cumbria County Council has installed double yellow lines on the B5289 in Borrowdale in the Lake District
The county council brought in the restrictions as a result of persistent and problematic obstructive parking, that poses a safety hazard for emergency vehicles.Double yellow lines were installed on both sides of the carriageway for approximately 1.5km. Immediately after the junction with the B5289, a short section of double yellow lines will be added to the U2222 Watendlath Road.
