Motorists were unable to exit a multi-storey car park in Plymouth for three hours this week due to snarled-up traffic.
Police said the tailback in the Harbour car park was caused by a defective traffic light on Lockyers Quay.
During the incident Inspector Alex Danning of Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We are asking motorists to avoid the area and that particular multi-storey where people are unfortunately stuck and really struggling to get out.”...
