Croydon sets out schedule for withdrawal of pay & display machines

Croydon’s pay & display parking machines are set to change over the coming months. Initially they will cease accepting cash this month, and then they will be withdrawn entirely this summer.

The reason given by the south London council is the terminals operate on the 3G mobile network, which is due to be shutdown during the course of this year.
