Serco in quest to build £1bn transport business

Over the past decade, Serco has built a unique transport business which has seen it diversify into highways management, infrastructure maintenance, air traffic control and transport operation across the globe. Serco Integrated Transport chief executive Nick Brown tells James Dark how this strategy has enabled the group to avoid the risks that other UK transport groups have run and how he intends to increase the pace of expansion.
