Stagecoach has been revealed to be in negotiations to acquire Scottish bus and coach group Rapsons.
The Inverness-based group operates 250 vehicles on a mixture of private charter and local bus service work throughout the Scottish Highlands, Orkney and Shetland. It is also a major contractor to Scottish Citylink, in which?Stagecoach has a minority stake, and National Express.
