Order returns to Bridgend and Vale of Glamorgan

The return of parking enforcement to Bridgend and the Vale of Glamorgan more than two years after South Wales Police withdrew its traffic wardens has resulted in a more than 400 penalty charge notices being issued during the first fortnight (PR January).

Figures released by Bridgend County Borough Council showed that the 12 civil enforcement officers (CEOs) patrolling Bridgend and the five officers in  neighbouring Vale of Glamorgan issued 436 PCNs in total during  the first two weeks...
